Anyone have a party or a large amount of people over? What do you do? What do you make for appetizers meal dessert? I usually make corned beef shepherds pie Irish soda bread. Looking for new suggestions.

For St. Patrick's Day, I make irish onion soup (it's like the appetizer). For main meal, I make corned beef, colcannon (its like mashed potatoes with cabbage and butter and its so good!), irish soda bread. And then I make desserts (something themed, different every year).

Appetizers and dessert vary depending on what everyone brings. Dips, cheese and crackers, typical party stuff. Same for dessert, whatever everyone brings. Themed cupcakes, soda bread muffins, plenty of boozy stuff. Dinner is corned beef, boiled potatoes, cabbage, green salad, baked mac n cheese, nuggets for the kids, soda bread, sliced rye.

I do too! I usually make the dinner part and others bring dessert but this year we are going to family for dinner and I have been tasked with dessert.

I've done these brownie cheesecake swirl bars. I just add a little green to the cheesecake part too make them festive.

For adult desserts, I lean toward anything with bailey's, cheesecake, brownies, cupcakes, etc. Pinterest has tons of ideas.

Of course! They are super easy- no baking!

I didn't have thin mint cookies so I used the Keebler Grasshopper cookies. You can also grind the cookies in a food processor to get the crumbs really fine and easy to roll or just get your anger issues out and smash them up in a ziploc bag (double bag it!!!).

Link.

ETA: I also didn't use mint chips, just regular green chocolate melts from my local baking supply shop.
