Spinoff to Curly Hair Girls....
So if you don't do the JHS, then were do you go to get your hair blown out.
I did the JHS two years ago, and some of my hair fell out (bad salon, won't do it again). I do however like to wear it straight, but with these kinky curls on my head I really can't do it myself.
Can anyone recommend a place in Suffolk that does a good job with blowing out curly hair? I will travel for a good recommendation.

I got JS done, but before that Id blowdry, then straighten iron mysself.
Whenever I got my haircut at a salon, they couldn't blowdry my hair. I would have to say, "Let me just do it".
I have really curly, kinky, thick hair.
Who can blowdry my hair very good that would leave it soft and shiny are Dominican ones.
I'd go to Betty's on Guy Lombardo in Freeport and it would be $25 for conditioing treatment, then blowdry and I have really long hair.
Just a wash and blowdry might be I believe $10-15

DOminicans do do a great job at blowing out hair. You can try checking out someplaces in Brentwood. It has a large Latino community.
I can recommend a great place, but they are in Jamaica, NY
