Spinoff: Cablevision triple play
I just got this, I have always had sattelite before, but decided not to put dishes on our new house.
Can anyone tell me how much their bill went up once the one year deal is over, I am so worried it's going to be a ton.

We pay around $130 a month.
This is for basic cable and a DVR box.

once the 1 year triple play thing, it cost about 20 or 30 dollar more for the same package

I've had the triple play for well over a year now and my bill for last month with a dvr & a second cable box was $141.94.
FYI, the dvr cost $9.95/month so you can subtract that if you don't plan on getting one.

Basic service, 1 cable box and remote is $127 after the year is over. That is after the $25 optimum rewards discount (in which we were automatically enrolled because we had all 3 services).

We pay $138 for all 3 but we have alot of the movie channels (all the HBOs, STARZ, and a bunch of others). No DVR or second box.

This is exactly what I have so this is prob. the most accurate. Plus I have some movie channels, Thanks!

We pay $156.61 for the triple play plus the silver package (HBO & STARZ) one regular box, and one DVR box.
ETA: This includes the Optimum Rewards discount for subscribing to all three.

oH yeah we take advantage of this too! its great Every Tuesday at Clearview cinemas you can see a movie for free. Up to 2 admissions and anyone after that is half price. If you get the optimum rewards card.

you can register online at the optimum online website and then you'll get your card in the mail like 2 weeks later...love it!!!!
