Spinoff #2: If you had to vote
I have seen a lot of people on Facebook who say they would only vote for Bernie and not Hilary, so I wonder how the poll would look if it was Hilary versus Trump (instead of Bernie vs Trump). I threw in 3rd party and not vote for good measure.

I am an extremely big supporter of Bernie. I am honestly not sure if I would vote for Clinton or write in Bernie. Our system is so screwed up and set up to maintain the corrupt political status quo. I think in the end I would do whatever it takes to make sure that obnoxious, racist, sexist moron Trump is not elected. But I'm hoping it doesn't have to come to this.

This would be the first election that I would NOT be voting 3rd party. I would vote anyone to keep Trump out.

I honestly have no idea at this point. If I had to choose, probably Hillary. But no one is a stand out. I wish Elizabeth Warren would run.

Absolutely. I doubt I am going to vote this year- first time since I became eligible that I am considering it. We are royally screwed, doesn't matter which side of the coin you are looking at.

Im a registered independent, but i lean moderate / conservative. im terrified that trump is the front runner. Like how is this even possible??

I'm sorry but anyone who supports Sanders or is scared of the possibility of a Trump presidency would be absolutely insane to write in a 3rd party or just decide to stay home on election day. Donald Trump will absolutely destroy this country.

Don't forget that our President isn't the king of our country, and is at the mercy of the Supreme Court and Congress. Having said that, none of the candidates have come out rallying their support for and willingness to work with Congress.
I'm waiting until the last minute to choose someone.

Just the fact that anyone would choose to vote in Trump if it came down to these to candidates is terrifying to me. I mean it really REALLY astounds me.i get why people hate Clinton, but at least she has got a lifetime of political experience. She has foreign policy experience. Trump is an experienced business man who made his wealth off the very broken system he claims needs fixing.
If Trump is voted in we really are doomed. We've become a joke at this point anyway.

I hate Hilary. But, it would have to be her over Trump. And in this case a 3rd party vote might ensure Trump gets in. So I can't toss away my vote this year.

I too support Bernie and don't believe he's toast yet. I wish the mainstream media would stop acting like the nomination is a done deal. And I wish people who immediately dismiss Bernie as a socialist would actually read about his policies and ideas.
And as much as I would be unhappy to vote for Hillary, if she is the nominee I will vote for her. I do think Sanders could launch a serious third party challenge against her but he won't.
As for Trump, I do not think he has it sewn up either. Mainstream Republicans hate him and I think will pull out every dirty trick there is to keep him out (IMO). And he is such an egomaniac that he would run as a third party candidate (again IMO.)

I cannot vote for Hilary or Trump. I despise them both. Being a teacher and seeing what Hilary's stand on education is, there is NO way I will vote for her.

This! I think it was pretty well known from the get go that Hilary was going to win SC. SC is very conservative. I do still think the Dem nomination is in the air. I am not totally convinced on Bernie, but he seems to be an ethical politician and I like his character, and I think it is horrid how the DNC and Debbie Wasserman Schultz have handled these primaries.
Sadly, I think Trump has the Republican nomination in the bag. Although I might actually dislike Cruz more than Trump, so hard to really root for any of them at this point. How embarrassing if Trump actually won the whole thing. Yet another reason for the rest of the world to think poorly of us.

I was reading comments on an article or something, I can't remember what. But the comments from people from other countries were consistently- are Americans seriously considering him? Ok, jokes over America. We're very scared what will happen if he's elected.
We will be the laughing stock of the earth if that buffoon is elected.

This exactly. I cannot even wrap my head around the fact that this is a real possibility. Who in their right mind is trusting this man in charge of already volatile and delicate international relations? SERIOUSLY. I will vote for any democrat on the ticket just to keep Trump out of office. This is INSANITY.
