"Special" 1st bday presents from grandparents for first birthday for DS? Need ideas!
My parents and DH's parents keep asking what they can get for DS - they want to get something "special" - I have no ideas, lol! I'm thinking maybe something for his room? What did your dc get? tia!

Do you want them to start some sort of "collection" for him? Like for example, I know people can collect Precious Moment figurines, glass pieces, music boxes, etc.?

Hmmmm...I don't know - that would be easier if I had a DD - nto sure what would be good for DS!
I was thinking maybe a rocking horse or something? Is that something they actually use?

We do a Lionel train collection for DS. A new car each year.

My parents gave DS a rocking horse and paid for his bday cake.
Inlaws gave money for his "college fund".

My parents got DD her Radio Flyer wagon (with all bells and whistles  ) for her 1st birthday (in addition to a million little things  ).
For Christmas they got her a very cute rocking horse.
