I get my posts moved often and I get embarassed and a little insulted I know sometimes the post can be technically a different category but I just think you'll get way more responses on here. When I get that fm I feel like the principal called me to their office

I will be honest.. I don't really know if any of my posts have been moved. I do make an effort to post on the 'correct' board.
If it did get moved.. I doubt I would be 'insulted'. HOWEVER.. if I noticed a lack of consistancy (ie - my post about my vacation is moved to travel within seconds while another with the same topic that was started the same day stays on NFR).. I might wonder if it was ME more than the post.
Either way.. it takes a little more than LIF to really work me into a lather. I'm weird like that.

OMG. Its like a bad dream. It happens. There are certain boards for a reason. Just post it on the right board or Xpost it. Its not rocket science people. This argument is so old and done.

Confused sometimes when I can't find it, but not insulted.
But I mostly try to think through which board it belongs on BEFORE I post.

I've had a couple posts moved. When I'm typing them, I'm thinking "This *could* go in one of two categories". Sometimes I pick a different one than TPTB chose, but I never disagree with them.

I never knew that people reported posts bc they were on the wrong board - or that anyone was getting insulted. I never thought of it either way before seeing the recent posts and I still don't get what the big deal is.

If you know you are posting on the wrong board but want more traffic, why be insulted that it is moved.
NFR is not the only board that gets traffic.

I used to get annoyed when I didnt see other posts removed. but than realized I needed to get a life and worry about other things going on.. needless to say, it doesnt bother me.
I actually like the new notice letting you know that it was moved. Now it doesnt get lost.

I had 1 post moved once and it was not moved to the correct board. It was not really related to the board it was moved and I did not understand the move.
I had my posts moved 2 times(but don't quote me on this!). It was justified. I wanted more "attention" for answers.
I learned my lessons. I am not mad. We need some sort of order.
I now xpost my posts if I need more "exposure" on other boards for more answers.

I got it and found it funny. People have a tendancy to become the Board Knight Patrol and feel the need to defend the LIF honor. it is a chat board ppl, they make the money regardless of anyone's opinion.

Hallelujah!! No exactly I was making fun of myself, which I tend to do often. I was a little surprised at some of the comments I thought I would see "yeah, haha it's a funny mistake" I might go into rocket science after I master the boards though.
