Sorel Joan of Arctic boot
In need of new Winter boots. Anyone have the Sorel Joan of Arctic boot for the Winter? How are they (in terms of fit, waterproof/weatherproof, durability, keeping feet warm, overall look/style, etc.?)
Do they ever go on sale anywhere? Where to get them at the best price?

Sorel Joan of Arctic boot
I've want these, my sister has them and loves them. They were just on sale for Bloomingdales friends and fam but didn't have my size :( I'm keeping my eye out for another sale, I hate paying full price!

They are everything you would want/need in a snow boot. A bit heavy but you will feel like a warrior during a snow storm. I bought mine for like $70 yrs ago before they became popular.

Columbia outlet has a bunch of sorels for cheap but you can't be too picky. The outlets upstate at Woodbury has a better selection than riverhead. U can always call and ask which styles they have

I love mine. Super warm and I find them comfortable but definitely a bit heavy.

I got mine for $90 2 years ago. Every once in awhile they go on sale on sites like Zulily or RetailMeNot. Like she said, warm, waterproof, tall, but heavy. I only break those out for the BIG storms, but I was glad I had them since we've gotten some big ones the past few years.
I got them in white and they are really cute.

Yes! I have another pair of Khombu and they are great.
And these are on amazon and at famous footwear for between 70 and 98 bucks.
So this is a really great deal.
I also think these are a little nicer looks wise than the Sorel's

I just bought these on Saturday at Costco! Love them, and for 40 bucks, cant beat it.
I finally buy snow boots and watch, we will get no snow this winter...

I just got them in the Commack location this past Saturday, pretty close to the entrance. Cant miss them.

Totally agree with the warrior statement.. 
I bought them on Ru La La a while back and they've gotten me through a few awful winters now. I love them.
