'Sons of Anarchy' Actor Johnny Lewis Found Dead Outside Murdered Woman's Home
Sons of Anarchy actor Johnny Lewis has been found dead outside of a murdered 81-year-old woman’s home, TMZ reports.
Police believe that the 28-year-old actor murdered the unidentified female and was on some sort of PCP or meth drugs.
Johnny reportedly was renting a room from the elderly woman. He was found dead, lying in the driveway outside of the home.
Best known for his work on Sons of Anarchy, Johnny also had a role on The O.C.. It also is believed that he dated Katy Perry back in 2006.

So crazy...saw this from Kurt sutter.
Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter has released a personal message following the death of the show's former star Johnny Lewis.
Lewis - who played Kip 'Half-Sack' Epps on the FX biker drama - was found dead by the Los Angeles Police Department and is being linked to the homicide of an elderly woman.
"Not sure if folks know this yet, but Johnny Lewis (Half-Sack) died last night," Sutter wrote on his official website. "It was a tragic end for an extremely talented guy, who unfortunately had lost his way.
"I wish I could say that I was shocked by the events last night, but I was not. I am deeply sorry that an innocent life had to be thrown into his destructive path."
He concluded: "Yes, it's [a] day of mourning, but it's also a day of awareness and gratitude. Sadly, some of us carry the message by dying."
Lewis was also known for his role as Dennis 'Chili' Childress on teen drama The OC and appeared opposite Kristen Stewart in 2010 film The Runaways.
Sounds like he knew he was on drugs or something??

I wonder if he was written off SOA because of his drug use a few years ago. I always liked Half Sack on the show but it definitely seems he had spiraled down a dark road.

I wonder if he was written off SOA because of his drug use a few years ago. I always liked Half Sack on the show but it definitely seems he had spiraled down a dark road.
I thought the same thing. I was pretty surprised when he was killed off. Maybe this was the reason. It's obvious he had a serious drug problem.

yeah, crazy...what a bizarre story as far as the scaling the walls to fight with all the neighbors...definitely gotta be drugs. Such a shame, I really liked him on the show.

Another article said he requested to be released from his contract . From IMDB it looks like he did other work after that including a film not yet released, but he was recently in legal trouble & sentanced to jail time. ( not sure if he served.)

He did serve. Apparently he was 6 days out of jail when this occurred

I don't watch the show so I don't know who he is.
But I just heard on Extra that he was an ex of Katy Perry's and the one she wrote "The One Who Got Away" about. She's devastated.
