Soaked diapers when DC sleeps through the night?
My daughters diapers have been weighing 10lbs by morning. I feel awful she has to sleep in all that but i dont want to wake her either...is this just inevitable? I always make sure she is dry when first going to bed...

That's normal for my daughter too.... I use Overnights, and they hold everything in thank goodness.... is she leaking out of her diaper at all?

She was and then i bought the huggies 12-18lbs..she is around 13lbs so they are a little bigger and have been holding it in..i just worry about diaper rash?!

I can't remember for the life of me what size the overnights start in.... I think it's size 3. They have been my godsend.
If you are worried about diaper rash, just put on a diaper rash cream as a preventative before you put her to sleep!

I have been laying it on thick!! I use Desitin and it seems to work well so far!

I'm having the same problem, and yes huggies overnights starts at 3, so I have a little while, but they aren't leaking and I'm lathering her up with cream before bed!!!!

i also use the huggies overnights... but to be honest my luvs work well also... i also just use aquafor on him as a protectant

I am a true blue Luvs worshiper also.... just for the overnights - sometimes it's just too much for the Luvs to take, so thank GOD for the Huggies overnights.

My DS wore Huggies Overnights LONG before he was in a size 3 in regular diapers, they run a little small and who cares if they are bigger, KWIM?

I use Pampers Swaddlers and she has a pretty hefty load in the morning but at night I slather her tushy in Boudreauxs Butt Paste and she has never had a true diaper rash. (And she sleeps 11-12hrs a night!!) On occasion if she made a #2  during the night she will wake up a little red on her tush and I just use a little Triple Paste and it clears up by her next diaper change. I think soaked diapers are just par for the course.

Maybe it's time to go up one size , at least at night. I really found this helped with DS#2. DS#1 used to leak through all of the time and then with DS#2 came along if this happened i just went up pne size.

i use pampers cruisers, those suckers hold a LOT of pee! and now that DS poops regularly every morning they hold that too - and he sleeps around 10-11 hours a night!
i also use desitin before bed to prevent diaper rash. sometimes he wakes up a little red if he has pooped but i just clean him well and put on more desitin and he's fine.
