and have another one coming in.

Chat Icon

It's not where we want it to be, but it is all a dance at this point.

We did look at houses today, and saw two we liked-- but a lot of negotiations need to take place to get the deal right.

I cannot believe that this all happening already. Nothing is done til we have something that is acceptable, but seriously W T F?!!!! DH is sooooo busy at work right now-- I am not sure we are going to be able to get this all together.

I am excited, and happy people like our home-- but I am kinda freaking out!

if that's the case, then we are screwed!

I think this market is different though... people want to see how desperate you are and try to go as low as possible.

We are definitely priced right, and could have priced ourselves higher than we did-- but our realtor said we'd probably just have to lower our price anyway. So we just went for it.

We'll see what their counter is-- but we will not accept an offer anywhere near what this one was.

We've only had 4 showings, and I would like more because I know when people come, they'll like it. So, we will see how it goes.

We are looking in Rye Brook, NY and we saw a house we really liked, but the outside space is at a minimum. It's part of a development and the house is great and huge-- and there are a ton of amenities there-- ie, infdoor/outdoor pool, gym, playground, etc. but after living int he city for 8 yrs, and here for 5--- I am craving a decent amount of outdoor space. And forget about the taxes.. Chat Icon I don;t know what to do!!!!

The reason I think the first offer is usually the best is because the offers that come in when the house is newly listed tend to be higher.

I think when a house has been on the market for say over a month, buyers will start to think the house is overpriced since it hasn't been sold yet.
