So nervous - going to the dr. because I was bleeding on Saturday! ***UPDATE!***

I have my first appointment today. They moved it up because I was bleeding Saturday morning.

The good news is I only bled while going to the bathroom one time and I haven't bled again but I am still just SO nervous about this appointment!!!

I am about 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. Do you think they'll do a sono????

Well - we saw the baby! He says that it looks like I'm 5 1/2 weeks along not 6 1/2 weeks. He said that it could be because I have long, irregular cycles, but I'm still worried. We didn't see the heartbeat. I have my first full appointment on Friday and he said maybe then.

Did this happen to anyone (you thought you were further along, but because of long cycles you weren't)?

Do you think that they'll be able to see if the baby grew from now until Friday??

They will most likely def do a sono, you can see a heartbeat at 6.5 weeks. It's a tiny flicker on the monitor.

Do not worry---I bled--and bled very badly...It can be alot of things...placenta issue---alot of things that can be ok.
They will most likely do a sono!

I think you have a right to be neurotic here. I'm glad you got good news at the doctor. I'll be praying that all goes well!

yes - the due date calculators were off for both of my pregnancies. I don't have long cycles, but apparantly I ovulate late?

We went for a visit and saw only the yolk sac and 4 days later saw the heartbeat, so its possible.

usually the HB is detected at 6 weeks.

yes! That did happen to me... exceptI was 3 weeks off... I thought I was 11.5 weeks at my 1st doc appt. I was really 8.5 weeks!! I was a little nervous when they told me this but they said it happens all the time. I just happend to be 3 weeks late in my cycle. I was not regular the month I ovulated. Now that I think back to it, it was a stressful month and could have def thrown me off that month.. So that may be what happened to you?? Good Luck!!
