so let's discuss tonight's true blood **spoilers** (nothing book related)
i was kinda disappointed..
there was so much hype for this episode... some parts were great, but most of it was flat...

They put all the action in the beginning. Then there was such a lull throughout the middle and then the end wasn't anything so spectacular since you know obviously it's Eric who came after Bill. Definitely not as good as I hoped it would be.
Also what happened to the 1.5 hour episode?
I am so glad that Maryanne is gone though.

Really? I haven't read any of the books. I want to but then I don't. I'm so curious to know who it was?

ITA...I was definitely not impressed. I was a little surprised about Jessica near the end!

hmmm...hadley would certainly be an interesting twist... she's under the queen's control, the queen was flirting w/ eric in front of her, both were saying how they hate bill and so maybe to please the queen (and eric) and she's jealous of bill and sookie's relationship she agreed to do this? who knows!
but the lorena plot would make the most sense...

I agree with PP's- didn't love this episode, and Lorena is a good bet for snatching Bill. Though Eric did say he'd take care of it personally. 
Best line of the night though-

I don't read the books so I'm a little confused with the Hadley character. Is she Sookie's cousin? Is she a vampire or is she just some type of slave to the queen?
Sookie was so annoying with her rant after Bill proposed to her. How unnecessarily dramatic of her.

it appears that Hadley is still human in the HBO Show. She is Sookie's cousin and I believe the reason that the Queen knows so much about Sookie

eric said he would take care of bill personally so it probably was him he may then hand Bill over to Lorena to play with but then again she let bill get away last time.

ITA!! Im so glad Lafayette is back to his old self.
I agree with what everyone said; it really wasnt an exciting episode and fell flat. I too am happy the Maryanne story line is over because that was just annoying.
Is anyone else upset Eggs was shot?? I felt bad for Tara. I wonder if she will blame Sookie for telling him.
Im hoping not, but I was inclined to believe Eric had something to do with taking Bill. I might have to read the books because I dont think I can wait until next summer.

Very much a let down
really disappointed in the last 2 episodes.. they went too silly for my tastes.
I thought the whole Maryanne thing was solved really lamely and over with so quick.. if that was all it took to kill her then why didn't Sam do that in the first place?
And really.. Sookie sometimes needs to stop whining about everything. All it took for her to want to say yes to Bill's proposal was to look at the ring on her finger? She annoys me sometimes.
not looking forward to Season 3 as much as i'd like too - they need to step it up next year!
