So I made the Kit Kat Cake- my only me would analyze this....EDITED TO ADD PIC
So I have the dumbest question ever....Are there different size lengths of Kit Kats? Bc for some reason all the other picture i see of this cake it looks like the kit kats are so much taller than the cake and when I just made mine the kit kats wound up being the same height of the cake
I used a box cake and made 2 9 inch round cakes with a thin layer in the middle of frosting.
So what did I do wrong????
I must know!!
I am re making it for Easter Sunday, this was a trial for Palm Sunday

I plan on making this for next Sunday too. I've never made it, but was planning on slicing a bit off the top of both layers to make it shorter. Is that what everyone else did?

I believe you you bought the "snack size" the ones that are 10 in a pack...you have to buy the regular size kit kats like the ones near the cashier...I almost made the same mistake, I'm sure it will still taste yummy!
Target usually has regular size kit kats in a pack of 8 so you don't have to buy them individually.
