sinus sufferers
my sinuses are killing me today...usually it is in the form of a really bad sinus headache and I take advil cold and sinus and I am good. Today though its not a headache but really bad PRESSURE in my sinuses..does anyone have any recs on what they use for this?? nasal sprays etc..thanks in advance for any advice

An ice pick?
Maybe if you have time before work....put your face over a steaming bowl of boiled water with vinager (white preferably) and sometimes that will help to loosedn things.

I used to suffer from the same...turns out it was my allergies.
Talk to your doctor about getting a script for Allegra-D & Nasacort.
I went from having daily headaches to probably once every 3 mths.

I feel crappy today too. I use Nasacort and Allegra for allergies, but I forgot this morning.

My Aunt swears by this. She puts salt water in her hand, and actually sniffs it up into her nose. Sounds painful, but she said it clears everything out. She does it all the time, and says its the only thing that works!
I havent gotten the nerve to try it yet!!

I use a nasal spray and zyrtec-d (prescription for both) - zyrtec is my miracle drug.

Ive been dealing with this terrible pressure headache from my sinuses all week, I am not one to go to a doctor for evey little ache&pain, but I have been really suffering, my eyeball sockets & head are KILLING me!!!
So I went to the Dr, he said it was a sinus infection(which I figured out on my own!) and gave me a z-pack (5 day antibiotic) and said to breath in
hot steam for 10 min at a time & also to take Mucinex....I find advil sinus&allergies works immediately also.
If you suspect its an infection, its important to get an antibioctic...not to scare you but your sinuses are so close to nerves near your brain...It shouldnt just be ignored. Feel better!
