Silly question about the museum of natural history and the Hayden Planetarium...

Silly question about the museum of natural history and the Hayden Planetarium...
Is it the same place??? When I do a search on it i'm getting the Natural Museum of History website...I have never been here and I'm planning on taking DS there this summer...

The Hayden Planetarium is in the Museum of Natural History but in a separate building where they do the light shows.
You have to buy separate tickets to see the light shows.
I think to go into the Museum they have a "recommended" donation, but I haven't been to either in a while . . .

Same place, you can acess the Rose Center from the museum (which is where the planetarium is. FYI, they are very strict on the kids oohhhing and ahhhing during the show though. They will ask you to leave if your kids make noise.

it's a suggested donation to get into the museum, but a set price for the plantetarium i believe.

That's ridiculous of them to do that! How can you keep a kids mouth shut during a show that they are enjoying. My son is an ohhhhh and ahhhhhher. Sounds a bit cruel to me to throw out a kid for being excited over a show...
