Sibling Spacing - How far apart do you want your kids to be?

How many kids do you want?

I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm already thinking about siblings. I think I'd like my kids to be 2.5 - 3 years apart.

I'd like 2 kids - . if we get two of the same sex, we plan to try for a third.

DH and I would ideally like 4 children, although we are playing it by ear on how the first goes.

I am almost 29, only on our first, and would really like to close up shop by 35, so needless to say we have a lot of work to do. We have both always wanted our babies close together in age.

At first I wanted 4-5 years apart from each child so that way I could enjoy each one, and then once they were in Kindergarten I'd have my next baby to fully enjoy.

We always wanted 4, now pg with twins we say we will wait between 3-4 years after the twins and then have two more close together...if we're blessed!

If I had more time to play with, 3 or 4 years would be ideal. I don't have time to play with. I would like to get started on #2 six months after Ed-lie is born. I am not sure how easy or difficult it will be for us the second time around.

We would like 3. We want them around 2 years apart. A year after is born we will try for the second and then a year after that one for the third.

DH has 3 kids from his first marriage, so this is #4 for him and #1 for me. We had a discussion before getting engaged that I would like to have at least 2 kids of my own. He agreed. Now that we are married and live in a very tiny house, we'll have to see what happens. I would love to have at least one more, about 2 years after this one, but who knows how I'll handle #1. I hope to have more.

Our children will be 2 yrs 8 months apart. If we try for a third I would like the 2nd and 3rd closer together.

I want 2 and we are hoping that our children will be 2.5 - 3 years apart....we already have a 16 month old

I would really like to have 2 under 2 since DH and I are NOT spring chickens but I have to get through #1 first LOL

I want 3 kids. I wanted them to be 2.5 to 3 years apart, but it didn't happen that way so (if this pregnancy sticks okay ) the first 2 will be 3.5 years apart. I can't think far enough in advance to plan for a third

Me and DH also want 4 kids... and also 2.5 to 3 years apart. So the first one will be Born when i am 27 and by the time we are done i should be around 36...not bad...wow crazy to think how the next 10 years of my life will be if i am blessed with 4 children!!!

We have a 15 month old dd, so these two will be 19 months apart..ideally, we would probably go for a third when the new baby is about a year and then play with the idea of a fourth...our moms babysit and are not keen on the idea of 3 under 3, so we will probably wait until the oldest is in pre-school 3 days a week and then try for two more close in age

Well depending on how much this one hurts... .

Seriously Im fine with having one. This was a wonderful suprise and Im content with that. I doubt we will plan for the 2nd it will just happen when/if it happens.

ideally DH and I want 2-4 depending. Hopefully, if everything goes ok, we'll start trying for baby #2 about 1-1.5 yrs after 1st baby is born.

I really had no choice in the matter. I was blessed with and I was blessed again t get pg with a almost 5 years later.

3 kids would have been ideal, spaced out about 1.5-2 years apart. But with our fertility issues and our ages that most likely is not in the cards unless I have twins next time. I have 6 frozen embryo's left, and we plan to do a FET when this little one is 8 months old.

Mine will be 21 Mos apart, which is how we wanted it. Both DH and I have 5+ years between our siblings & we really wanted our kids to be close in age if we could. We are definitely closing up shop after this one, since I am in my mid-30s

ETA: Not that it is a bad thing, but my body went though a lot with my first PG and this one does not seem to be going any smoother. I actually thought to myself this morning as I was hugging the porcelain...I am too old for this sh!&.

We know we definately want two (I may want a third one..) but we'll see how this one goes first

Ideally we would like the kids to be 2-3 yrs apart in age. My brother and I are 2.5 yrs apart, and we are very close, I want my children to have that bond.
