Shortness of Breath

Over the past couple of weeks, dh has been experiencing bouts of shortness of breath.

Recently, he had one right after lunch and last night during dinner. He just told me that he had one again this morning.

He says it feels like he cant take a full breath.

He is under a lot of stress right now, with a possibly career change, and waiting to hear something.

Additionally, we just got a puppy a few weeks ago, he is allergic to dogs, but she is hypoallergenic.

Do you all agree this could be just stress??

I am trying to convince him to go to the doctor, but he is being stubborn.

Thanks for your input!

Re: Shortness of Breath

He should see his DR, and in the mean time, drink lots of water to flush away anything his body may have come in contact with.

DO you have an air purifier at home to keep the air clean?

Def go see a doc, it could be heart related although it's probably just stress.
I went to the doc recently because I felt like I couldn't breathe. They did every freakin test there is only to tell me it was stress and there was nothing wrong with me. My father in law had just passed away.

He def should go so a doctor. Another thing he might have is a blood clot in his lung. Not to scare you, but there is a reason why he is getting shortness of breath...it could be stress, but it could be a million other things. He should go to the doctor and get a full round of tests just to make sure. Good luck! Chat Icon

Re: Shortness of Breath

He should def see the doctor, but I wonder if he has gastric reflux? If he is getting it after eating, it could be that. Keep us updated and I hope he is feeling better?
