Shiloh and Pax Jolie-Pitt Both Lose a Front Tooth
Paging the tooth fairy!
It appears that Shiloh and Pax Jolie-Pitt have both lost a front tooth
Shiloh, 3, and Pax, 5½, were photographed Wednesday with mom Angelina Jolie (and sister Zahara, 4½) at a Toys 'R Us in Toulon, France, where they snapped up some new toys.

Isn't Shiloh a little young to be losing her top front teeth? I know everyone's different, but generally kids start losing their bottom front teeth around 5 years old.

3 is WAY too young--
My son is almost 6 yrs. old and has not lost a tooth yet. I remember with my dd that the average age was 6 yrs. old and in 1st grade.

Yeah 3 is young. My oldest son lost one front tooth shortly after his first birthday due to a fall So maybe that's what happened.

My nephew lost his front teeth right after Kenneth was hurt -- so, he was 6 years old... had turned 6 in December and then lost them that May.

I was reading an article about this and there was a dentist who commented that most likely there must have been some trauma for her to lose a tooth so early. Maybe she fell or bumped the tooth and it needed to come out.

She could just want to be like her big brother and it's blacked out We all know how siblings want to be like each other. It looks blacked out to me.
I agree 3 is too young unless something happened to it or she has bad teeth and it rotted out but it does happen.

I also read an article about this and it said it was most likely from an accident, or it may have been blacked out, because she's too young to lose her teeth.

I was going to say this. My son had to have some top teeth removed when he was 3.

Yes, 3 is way too young. I think she had some trauma where the the tooth either fell out or had to be extracted. My niece fell when she was about 20 months. a few months ago at age 4 they had to extract the front tooth because she was getting infections from the trauma of her fall at 20months. They may have to extract the second as well.

My son fell on a slide at 2 and caused trauma to his front tooth. It has been slowly turning black over time. My dentist told me he most likely will lose it much earlier then most kids will and have no tooth for quite some time. So this could be what happened.
