Shelter Island Hotel Recommendations
Can anyone recommend a hotel in Shelter Island for a long weekend get away? One that would be kid friendly (well more baby friendly as my DD will be 15 months old).

Sunset Beach is definitely the nicest, its an Andre Balazs property. However not sure if its the most kid friendly as it is a "hot spot" in the evenings.
You can look into La Maison Blanche, The Pridwin, The Rams Head Inn or Chequit.

DH and I stayed at the Pridwin for a couple of nights; I'd definitely recommend it.

Shelter Island Hotel Recommendations
We stayed at the candle lite inn. IMO it's not super kid friendly. Lots of small inns and ours you could hear everyone around you.
There aren't typical hotels out there. It's all converted large homes.

Shelter Island Hotel Recommendations
We have a house there! Chequit would be a good one for kids. Sunset beach is right near the beach and Tuck Shop (ice cream) so can't go wrong there!!!
