Shameless post....I made our first married thanksgiving dinner
(Thanksgiving we were at his parents and friday I was mine)....
so Saturday I cooked our own Thanksgiving AND.....
IT WAS THE BEST TURKEY EVER!!!
It was a 13lbser and I put rosemary, garlic, lemons, and white wine in the cavity and season on skin...tented it and based it every 45 minutes!!!!
So moist and flavorful!!!
I also made fresh cranberry sauce, candied yams, green bean caserol, stuffed mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and gravy..and finished it with pumpkin pie!
Needless to say we had pancakes with cranberry sauce this morning, and will have turkey for dinner tonight
I made a lot, but it was perfect!

yeah that is why I had to cook my own...I am corny like that, I even have the wishbone drying so we can make a wish on it
I can't wait for x-mas, new years...and then 1/27 is our 1 year engagement anniversary, and march is 2 years dating.
I think we are celebrating something about every month
