Secondary Infertility
Sometimes I feel a little bad posting here since I have been blessed with one child already and some of you are striving so hard for even that.
I hope that you all are OK with me being here. I struggled the first time (more than a year), I didnt get PG until 5 years after we were married. And now, well I am in the infertility muck up to my eyeballs.
Anyway, just wanted to put this out there and get some feedback.
You all have been amazing so far and I worry that I may make any of you uncomfortable in any way.

Pauline!!! Not at all!! You belong here just like the rest of us. I know that I am glad you're here, we all learn from each other and you can teach us as well as gain info from us!

OMG...how could you even think that you don't belong here! Of course we welcome you....just cuz you were able to conceive once doesn't mean that you are exempt from infertility. Please, stay and keep us in touch with what is going on.
BTW, my SIL is going through the same sort of thing. They have a four year old daughter and have been trying for two years to have a second. She has had four or five IUI's and is now moving on to IVF....They have a lot of money, so I am sure they are going to keep trying until they get their BFP....
My point is, you still have an infertility situation so you are in the same boat as us.

Oh of course not.....it doesn't matter how many children a person has, if they want another and are having difficulty, the frustration is the same. I wish you all the babydust in the world :)

My Dr calls my issue secondary infertility as well. Although I have no living children, my pre term labor and my M/C were NOT related to infertility or any of my current issues. More like flukes....so this issue now is unusual.
People used to say to me " Donna, can hang her coat next to a man and get Pregnant" ..Im thinking they JINXED me...LOL LOL

There's an article about secondary infertility in a recent issue of People magazine. It was really interesting and helpful to read.
