Second child in daycare
We are thinking of adding an addition to our family but I want to make sure it is something that we can truely pull off/ not stress to much about.
My husband and I both contribute amount the same to the hosehold so we both have to work.
My son is in a daycare now and we pay about $300 a week. When I put another child in daycare should I expect to pay double???
I so what are some other options????
I am willing to have someone in my home or in another home etc.

You usually get a 10% off discount with the second child in daycare - to me that's not a whole lot. In home care may work out cheaper.

for this specific reason, DH and I are reluctantly holding off on TTC until next year. At that point, Bella will be four and by the time we are hopefully blessed with #2, she will be in Kindergarten. Otherwise the bill would be RIDICULOUS!

U might have to pay double. My daycare will cost $1300 per month for 2 kiddies. Both DH and I work. I will be paying for MIlan and he will be paying for DD.

we are thinking the same. We may pay for 2 for 1 yr but not more then that. How sad that people cant have families the way they want bc of rising daycare costs. IMO the govt should kick in to the costs but I wont even go into that

Same thoughts here! It is very sad it works out this way for many.

My daycare rates drop as the child gets older (it went down when she turned 18 months), plus we get a 15% discount for the older child when the baby starts.
SO it works out to be less than double, but not much less.

Right now we pay$2417.00 for an infant and a toddler FT. I don't want to even know what the third would cost in daycare
