Sad and very moving
I just saw one of the most moving things in my life. I work in a school that is part of a church. This morning they had the funeral for the firefighter who died in his sleep at 31.
They have our entire road blocked off. They had a police escort with bagpipers. When they started to play amazing grace I was crying. There is so many fireman and policemen here. When the procession came in I couldn't stop crying. I can't even imagine what the family must be feeling

I read the story - he had a heart problem- he had just saved some one that day ( I think)

I just found out that he died from Crohn's disease, which I believe IS the what the LIW's DH passed away from.
The 18 year old from Floral Park is a different person.
