Sad and angry.....
My brother died Friday after a 16-month battle with colon cancer. He was 40 years old.
I am in disbelief over this. I spoke to him Tuesday morning and in a matter of days, he wasn't with us.
I am angry that he is gone - why did he have to die so young? Why did my parents have to bury their oldest son? I am incredibly sad at all the memories he won't be around for with our 9-month old daughter when he was estatic when she was born.
People are sending me their condolences and while they are appreciated, it doesn't seem fair. You go to a funeral for someone in there 70s/80s and you know they lived a fruitful life. You go to one for someone who is your kin/your generation and it just feels so wrong!
Just needed to get this out....life is unfair and CANCER S U C K S!

I'm so sorry. It is horribly unfair. My uncle died of complications from colon cancer last April. He was 54 and was only diagnosed 8 months before.

I'm so sorry....I'm going through similar now. My aunt was just given approximateky 72 hrs to live after a 7 year battle with what started as breast cancer. She's only 58, two childdren in.their 20s who are yet to be married...
