It's because Roz is fun and real and well-liked (and my autocorrect wants to change her name from 'Roz' to 'Fox' all the time - because she is one)...and they are not fun. And probably not well-liked. And probably not foxy. Because you cannot be any of those things when your panties are in such a tight twist over musings about, of all things...poo.
And there you have it.
I'm sorry I just find this offensive and sad So some peope think she was crude, some people think she could have added TMI. I'll be honest I read the post after the drama and it was no big deal THEN, but had I been on there I would have thought it was about her hearing a hb, or her shower, or her gender reveal not her poop. It's not what she said it was how she said it that made me squirm. It did *to me* come across as being a tad vulgar and *to me* did warrent a TMI. I have not read many of her posts I don't think, but it sounds like that's just how she rolls, so good for her. My point in this is there is a lot of defending what she said and how she said it, the term bully being used to describe how some people felt and so on and then you post this. I'm sorry I just really find this tasteless and offensive. I know one of the posters you are refering to and she is none of these things she "must be" and posts like yours are what get people fired up. Think it's crapp, think we're tight assses go ahead, but please don't be so rude as to say we must not be fun or well liked because we found something crass that you found funny.

If there was one good thing to come out of this, it's that not only have the newer people like more recent brides in the past 2-3 years caught on rather quickly to the nasty women here - who have a reputation of being nasty for the sake of being nasty, snarky, and shit-stirrers, or who only pop on threads to continue to cause drama or act like 5 year olds - but that they have started to call them out on it.
It's refreshing to finally see the older '05 - '08s finally get called out on being nasty, since no one else seems to have the balls to do it, either out of fear of being attacked or disrupting the pack.
Once I read the phrase "you bet your fat ass..." last night directed towards mRs213, from a PAYING VENDOR nonetheless, I realized why so many people no longer post on LIF, or why recent brides on LIW fear coming here.
Of course, someone jumped in and said it wasn't a big deal, it's a figure of speech, it was directed at everyone, not just mrs213, let it go, and other things, but those are fighting words, if you ask me. "You bet your fat ass" is personal, I don't care how you spin it, or whether you know someone's size or not.

See and I see it differently. Let me preface by saying that I do not think it was a big deal what she wrote on the pregnancy board, my opinion. BUT I dont think its "great" to see 08' and above brides come on a defend a position that even the OP doesnt give two cr@ps about. There was drama presented by both sides. Oh and I also think dividing yrs of who got married when representing mean girls vs nice girls, C'mon thats a bit of a stretch.

If there was one good thing to come out of this, it's that not only have the newer people like more recent brides in the past 2-3 years caught on rather quickly to the nasty women here - who have a reputation of being nasty for the sake of being nasty, snarky, and shit-stirrers, or who only pop on threads to continue to cause drama or act like 5 year olds - but that they have started to call them out on it.
It's refreshing to finally see the older '05 - '08s finally get called out on being nasty, since no one else seems to have the balls to do it, either out of fear of being attacked or disrupting the pack.
Once I read the phrase "you bet your fat ass..." last night directed towards mRs213, from a PAYING VENDOR nonetheless, I realized why so many people no longer post on LIF, or why recent brides on LIW fear coming here.
Of course, someone jumped in and said it wasn't a big deal, it's a figure of speech, it was directed at everyone, not just mrs213, let it go, and other things, but those are fighting words, if you ask me. "You bet your fat ass" is personal, I don't care how you spin it, or whether you know someone's size or not.
IT NEEDS TO STOP.
I don't care how beloved you are here or how much you are vicious and say such vicious things, but just because you own up to it or apologize publicly or via FM, it's no excuse.
It shouldn't be accepted or allowed anymore. No one should have to be subjected to that.
Posters need to stop thinking they have an automatic pass to be cruel and shit-stirrers, and OTHER posters here need to call them out on it if it continues.
You treat people the way you want to be treated, and further, no one should allow themselves to be treated that way, or stand by and watch someone else treat someone poorly.
And you with the secret name, where have your balls gone? it must feel soooo good to call people out behind a fake name Because we all know you're an old-timer
