Restaurant recommendations near Penn Station
Meeting my cousin for dinner and he works around the block from Penn Station.
Something casual and not too expensive.

Stout, just out the back door next to old navy is decent, so is Tir Na N'Og on 6th avenue
there is also a restaurant called Il CAmpange ...more sit down then the above two, which are bar like. its on 32 / 33rd (you would think after >10 years commuting I would know what block it is). I haven't eaten there, but I did read reviews and it seemed decent
Neils is in the Affina hotel - they do a fantastic breakfast

Tir Na Nog has great food, so does Stout.

Mustang Sally's or Harry's are both nearby and both casual pubs with good food.

This is where I usually go when I'm in the area of Penn Station/MSG.

Stout is great.
Tier Na Nog is a little more pricey for main course type food.
Mustang Harrys/Sallys are great too.

my favorite is the Molly Wee Pub. It's on the corner of 8th and 30th. If you go out the back entrance of Penn across from the Post Office, you'll hit it.
