Recommend your pediatrician in Wantagh area

word of advice - go with this group when the baby is a newborn! I'm looking to change now and I've heard great things about this practice but they do not accept transfer patients, it's a closed practice

These are my pediatricians and I LOVE them!
I go here too. If you don't mind waiting an hour or longer for a wellcare visit, it's the place to go. I like the doctors but I cannot stand the practice anymore. I was there with my DS on Friday for an 11am appt and was seen at 12:20. I am dreading going back on Wed with my other son. Wellcare visits have to be booked months in advance (ie, my DS turned 5 in October and I made his wellcare visit in August and he is going this Wed.)
It's become a real zoo. I was lucky I was there with my 19 month old who is an angel when I went on Friday. He is super healthy right now and I wanted to keep it that way. The poor kid sat in a stroller for 1 hour!
Sorry to hijack your thread. I want to recommend them bc I do trust them but I just can't based on how crazy their practice is right now. I've had 2 other peds in the past and never had waits like this. It's like that all the time. My SIL goes to Dr. Zaso and loves him. I think he is in Bellmore too.

I agree, that's my only complaint.
This is my only complaint too. I love the doctors there but hate the wait. Sara is a very active 2 year old and waiting with her is impossible

I really need to look into a new pediatrician also ----- luckily Em's been healthy but I really need to do this before she gets sick.

We got there too. As one of the above posters said, it is a closed practice- you must have a newborn to get into the practice. I absolutely LOVE all of the doctors. They are so accomdating. They have Saturday and Sunday hours.
You cannot interview them beforehand, but that didn't bother me.
