Reckson plaza, the old EAB on Hempstead tpke in Uniondale...is it decorated for the holdays?
Anyone know? Are there any displays, etc?

It was decorated last year. We took pics in front of a really pretty tree they had inside. Not sure about this year. We also went on the night of the tree lighting though so they may have had different stuff that night.

RXR Plaza Ice Skating Rink is Open!

We are pleased to announce that the RXR Plaza Ice Skating Rink is now open for the 2009/2010 season. Located at RXR Plaza, across from Nassau Coliseum, this beautifully decorated, seasonal rink provides the perfect setting for outdoor skating for families and small groups, as well as couples seeking a great outdoor activity.
While at the rink, you may rent skates, enjoy a variety of snacks and refreshments within the warmth of the rinkside ice house, and view Long Island’s Favorite Tree, a beautiful 66 foot tall Norwegian Spruce . You may also want to tour the fabulous Winter Garden inside RXR Plaza which also plays host to local musical talent and Santa sightings throughout the holiday season.

It should be by now, they do every year and my sister's brass group is playing Christmas music there on 12/19 at 6pm if you're interested in enjoying a free concert
