One of my friends teaches in a middle school. She planned a field day and ordered shirts that every student had to wear if they wanted to participate. My friend purposely ordered large shirts so that the girls who like to dress provocatively would be covered. Well, one group of girls wore the shirts......without pants!!! They wore belts, heels, and cut the sleeves off--for field day!!!

And THIS is when the parents would be called and the kids would be sent home if I RAN THE WORLD!

I just saw a young girl walking to school on my way to work in a skirt that barely covered her rear end. And the whole time she's walking she's pulling the hem of her skirt down to keep herself covered. I couldn't help but wonder how she planned to sit in it. Makes me scared to have a DD in this day and age.
I see this daily at our middle school. I went to my son's chorus concert, and was shocked how many girls were in these skirts. I was embarrassed for them AND their parents! When I was younger, the schools had a rule that the skirt had to be no shorter than where your fingertips fell on your leg. Too bad they don't do that nowadays.

A girl and her mom came into my store. The girl was wearing VERY short shorts and a tight tank top. The mom said to my co-worker "guess how old she is". We all guessed 16, she was TWELVE!!! The mom started laughing and said "I know, crazy, she's gonna be trouble right?" with a frigging smirk on her face. I wanted to say let's see how funny it is when she comes home pregnant as a teenager because you didn't teach her any decency. People have no respect for themselves anymore and it sad that parents are allowing it

OMG...some parents today are SUCH morons. WHY is it funny that your 12 year old is dressing like a skank? Where is the humor in thinking that your daughter is gonna be "trouble" one day? ARRGGHHH...
ETA: I thank my lucky stars that my niece and Goddaughter who JUST turned 18 3 days ago (GOD I am old), is the way she is. She hates dressing up and wears very little makeup. She plays hockey and has been in a great relationship with a very nice boy for over a year now. She always mentions to me how she can't understand the way that her other classmates dress and act. She would be mortified being that way. She makes me so proud knowing who she is and being comfortable with herself enough to know that she doesn't have to dress like a slut and give the goods away.

Yesterday at one of the feasts I saw two girls at separate times (so I do not think they were friends) wearing these tops that are long in the back ( and by longi mean to the waist line and the front ended just under their boobs. So their whole belly was exposed. As they move you could catch glimpses of their bra It was so trashy.
They had to be HS age

I recently attended a Bar Mitzvah where 12-13 year old girls were wearing the shortest dresses I have ever seen with 4" CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTINS.   (yes, they were real).
They easily looked 18 or older.
I agree with the poster that said where do we go from here with the clothes? Going around topless?
And I just have to add that last weekend I saw a teenage girl walking around the supermarket WITH her mother wearing basically underwear (boy shorts).

I get girls changing their clothes outside, but who pays for those clothes? Parents always have some control over their teens if they hold the purse strings. I see so many kids dressing inappropriately, talking and texting all day on their iPhones. Then, the parents say I can't stop my child.

Eh, I clearly remember dressing "slutty" as a teen when we would go out to a club, and I was not alone most girls I knew did. I think as I get older *I* see things and am somewhat surprised bc at 30 it looks tacky but at 17 I was rocking' similar styles
