Except for Yolanda Foster.  But like all the others, it's because of narcissism and self-promotion. 
And I think Lisa Vanderpump has some coin too.
yeah some do have money...they just are attention whores. Like Adrienne Maloof, Brandi said she has all that money but you can't buy fame and thats why she did the show. Camille Grammar...
I mean Jill Zarin too, she isn't a billionaire but she has some cake. Kelli Bensimon has some dough. A lot of the former and current NY ones.
In the case of the LI Princesses they do NOT have money, they don't even work and theirs parents are upper middle class AT BEST. Honestly their parents have been supporting their extravagant lifestyles for 30 years--they probably don't have that much saved after all that  I mean they all have 80's kitchens how rich can they be?

I am relieved to see this show get cancelled. I feel ashamed for having watched 2 episodes so far only because I wanted to see where they filmed (Freeport is 10 min from me). 
These women will be fine, the show will end up giving tem exposure to launch more silly " business products /ideas" like the "drink hanky" or lip gloss doubling as lipstick mints  the average salary for anyone appearing on a Reality TV show is $2-6K per episode, which is still a nice same of cash for basically doing nothing but acting like a spoiled b*tch on national television...they won't realize how much they screwed their reputations until the season ends and they try to get real careers/jobs.
