quick question...pigs in the blanket?

I know this will get moved, but this board gets more traffic and I'm going to stop and shop at noon Chat Icon
Pigs in the blanket....how many packages of cresent rolls do I need for one package of mini hot dogs?

How do you make them without the blanket falling off the pigs in the oven? Mine always seperate.

you cut the crescent roll in half, so that you have two triangles...then cut each triangle in half again, that way each crescent roll can make 4 piggies....and then roll the hot dog in the crescent roll, making sure that the pastry wraps around itself...I've never had them seperate....

eta: I bought two things of crescent rolls and one package of mini hot dogs...so hopefully that's enough...

Try putting the seam down on the baking sheet--and give the seam a little pinch. They usually stay put!

i never use cresent rolls..but i think i will try that. I get the biskets...i take 1 bisket and cut it in 1/2..and roll the lil hot dog and put seam down

If you cut the rolls in half before you roll them I have found you get about a 1:1
