Question for Jewish Moms
Did you set up your nurseries before giving birth? Did you have it somewhat set up but just moved in furniture later on? Did you have everything at a different location?
Asking for a friend...

We're not religious at all, so I set up the nursery in my third trimester, put all the furniture in there, and (gasp!) even had a baby shower! Thrown by my jewish friend, I might add!

we painted and carpeted the room (only because we figured we wouldn't have the time or energy after the baby was born and we were concerned with the fumes).
The day after I had the baby my DH and his brother put the furniture together and put it in her room.
I didn't have a shower. Everything that we bought for the baby was stored at my mom's house until the baby was born.
