Question for BFing mom????
DS is just 7 weeks, seems like the last week or so all of a sudden he just wants to eat ALL THE TIME?!? I sometimes have a hard time just holding him off for 2 hrs, let alone 3 or 4! Is this normal? I tried pumping to see if maybe i'm not producing enough but i can get easy 4-5 oz from each boob?!? Any suggestions?? TIA!

DD had a growth spurt at around the same age I think. There's not much I can recommend, it's just something you'll probably have to work through...it should slow down in a day or two (I know, that seems like forever from now!)

my dd is only 2 weeks and she eats nonstop. I try and pump when i can so if she doesnt want to stop eating other times i can give her the bottle instead.. I also had to give her formula once in a blue moon, b/c it seems like the breast is empty and shes getting very fussy.

Its probably a growth spurt, its totally normal. Just feed him on demand.

Always feed on demand in the first 2 months to help establish a healthy milk supply.

that is a growth spurt for sure. Just keep nursing on demand this will increase your milk supply. YOu will see.

Def. a growth spurt. Just keep feeding on demand, and pumping in between to increase your supply. Also, eating oatmeal in the morning helps, and there is a herbal supplement called Fenugreek that helps increase your supply.

yes it is normal, there were times where my DD wanted to eat every hour. I fed her on demand, if that meant every hour, so be it...
