Question about depositing a check!
If my STAR Rebate is made out to both my husband and I do we BOTH need to endorse the check? I was going to run to the bank today to deposit it but DH is out.

my bank allows only one of us to endorse (BFCU). prior to that, WAMU allowed it as well.

Thanks, I thought that in the past they made both of us sign it. The check is also in my maiden name because of our mortgage. I guess I'll just try and see what happens!

our check said Mr. Babyboy "OR" Mrs Mushpot on it...so in this situation, only 1 of us needed to signed.

I recall this situation from our wedding checks...
john doe and jane doe = both must sign
john doe or jane doe = only 1 must sign
It doesn't matter whether it's being deposited into a joint acct or not, that is apparently the rule according to our credit union.....
