q about pulling up in crib
when your dc first pulled up to standing in the crib how did they do it - from a sitting position or from their belly? im asking b/c ds is trying so hard to do this but from his belly and it looks so unnatural and painful!

Totally normal, well at least from my experience. That is how Troy did it for a while, until he learned to sit up from a layingdown position.

In general babies develope in the following order...they learn how to get themselves to a sitting position, crawl, pull themselves up, cruise, then walk...again this is just a generalization and there are many exceptions to this.
So they usually are pulling themselves up in the crib from a sitting position rather than a laying down position...
