push toys for 9 month old
Are the "lawn mower" and "grocery cart" type push toys stable enough for a budding walker? I am thinking about getting her one this weekend and I'm not sure if they are all that sturdy for her. She has been cruising around everthing for over a month now, but I'm just not sure if it is too soon for her. Any thoughts??

DD is just about 8 months, so we haven't opened the package yet, but I got a phenomenal deal on this Stride-to-Ride Lion at Christmas time. It looks great, they walk behind it (seems very sturdy), then coverts to a ride-on toy when they're older. It's by Fisher-Price. Again, haven't used it yet though.

I just bought my son this one. We used it last night and he loved it. He did so well with the walking. He just turned 8 mths old yesterday. Its so funny to watch him push this thing across the floor. Image Attachment(s):

Thanks for the ideas. I think I had in my head the old ones like the bubble mower that I don't think were that sturdy.

We have this one too, plus we have a car one, that you can push in the back.
I don't think the lawn mower and such would be sturdy enough.

The lawn mower is def not sturdy enough for a beginner. We have it along with the Ride-on Lion (which was great). DS now 16mths and still plays with both
