Public track or park in Massapequa/Massapequa Park/Amytiville?
New to massapequa area...I'm seeking to start walking/running nearby in Massapequa/Massapequa Park/Amytiville while pushing my twin boys stroller, but i'm looking for a public track or park nearby? Any suggestions?

there is a track that starts at sunrise hwy near the massapequa park train station. not sure what it's called but i see people running and biking there all the time. HTH!

There is a bike trail right by the tracks, it extends from merrick road, past sunrise hwy and goes thru mass pk, running along lakeshore drive...and goes all the way to bethpage state park.
If you park in the mass train station, espcially on the weekends you can't miss it...there are always people running and biking there (park towards the beginning)

I don't know the names but I know there are a lot of parks in Massapequa near Unqua Blvd and Merrick Road. If you mapquest the intersection it'll tell you the names.

Although a very nice trail, I would NEVER go through there alone. Way too many incidents in the past.

My Mom and Aunt walk at the Plainedge H.S. Track. It's really nice!
