Ohhhh so now we are all of a sudden worried about COVID? Yet all I see is people ***** and moan about how things need to open up and we need to get back to normal. So which is it?
I think we still don’t want ill people coming in our country, do we? Didn’t flights stop from the UK but we are ok with people walking over the border?

Do you think it’s an overnight trip to Mexico? They come from all over. It actually does take months for some. They really truly do believe they have more of a chance of getting in, and staying in, under Biden. Whether or not that happens, it’s the impression they have. They have nothing to lose so they are all trying.

Yes I know many who have become citizens the right way. It is expensive and time consuming but that is how it should be done as we are getting people who don’t want to follow rules and get away with things because they are not legal.

Yes I know many who have become citizens the right way. It is expensive and time consuming but that is how it should be done as we are getting people who don’t want to follow rules and get away with things because they are not legal.
Seeking asylum in this country is a legal way to come in to this country. Those at the border aren't necessarily coming to our borders illegally.
And, money should NOT be a criteria to become a US citizen.

This has been going on for years. It was made an issue during he who must not be named’s presidency. It will continue to go on. He who must not be named attempted to do something about it. Not saying it was right When attention was called to the conditions people are in in the detention centers it was omg trump is putting children in cages. Guess what? They were there before trump and they are still there.

Well the person in charge of the border had a press conference yesterday.They are only allowing unaccompanied minors in. No families. No single adults. The are not putting kids in cages. They are being house in trailer park style buildings with access to bathrooms. Anyone let in (kids) is tested for covid. They are now implementing a new program that is in Latin and South American countries where someone can apply for asylum from their country to the Us. They no longer need to come here to apply. They can apply directly in their home county for asylum to the US. With the pandemic, the former boarder asylum areas have basically been curtailed.

Not sure why people think you are only speaking of people by the border. Any country should be the same. The people I have known didn’t come from any countries by the border wall. They all did the right thing to become a citizen.
