Prom Dress Spinoff: Do you know that girls "register" their prom dresses now?
My co-workers were talking about this. Dress shops record what HS you go to and will only allow one girl per HS to buy a certain dress so there is nobody else with your dress at your prom.
Um, that is totally ridiculous!!!

We encountered this when my niece was shopping for her prom dress this June. Seems silly because it only works if all girls buy their dresses from the same store, which obviously is not the case. And half the dresses the store carried were also at Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's etc.

I went to a wedding last weekend on DH's side of the family. There were maybe close to 350 people there. I was wearing the same dress as someone - my SIL - who sat right next to me. We made the best of it.
