Probably a very dumb question but I have to ask - re: the soft spot on my DD's head...
Ok so I grew up with my mom always yelling at me not to touch the "soft spot" on my 3 younger siblings head.
With my DS this wasn't an issue obviously. I've been putting elastic head bands on my DD since she was just 3 wks old and now at 5 wks it just occured to me that these headbands are right on her soft spot! COuld this be harmful? what about the tight hats?

No. You would have to press your finger really hard in the soft spot to hurt her.

Hi there!
Funny you ask this but I never put them on DD b/c of this. The few times I put them on for pics, she got such a mark so quickly that I felt it just wasn't worth it.
But you know me and the way I think.  Hope you are all doing well!!!

I only kept loose hats on her but ANY headband always made a mark very quickly, so I only put them on for pictures. But there is no medical basis that I went on, just didn't like what I saw.

lol i hear ya - i stretched the head bands out so much though there is no way they are making a mark! But i am still paranoid
