prenatal vitamins causing acne?
I just want to give a little history here...... I NEVER IN MY LIFE HAD A PROBLEM WITH ACNE............ Until this week  
I honestly cannot say the grand total number of pimples that I have broken out in since starting my prenatal vitamin last week. They are so painful too!!  Could my prenatal vitamins be to blame? I NEVER had anything like this before! Ugh especially these two huge ones close to my lip! If I had to give it a number, I would say roughly 10 pimples (some had come and gone already with acne med I put on as soon as it came up) ........ and this is coming from someone who normally gets 5 a year.
(I am still on my pill, coming off in a week........ so it CAN'T be the withdrawal of hormones from stopping the pill!!  ) Also, it's CitraNatal Assure.

I doubt its the vitamins.  Our body chemistry changes every few years. I never had pimples either until my mid 20's. I'm not sure how old you are but that could be it.
Also, the stress of TTC.

I don't think it's quite the stress of TTC since I am going off the pill in a week so we haven't really started yet It's just SUCH a coincidence since I JUST started those prenatals...... They just seem so logical to blame!

i came off the pill and started my prenatals at the same time and i have had a pizza face since. i've tried neutrogena stuff, proactiv and some other creams and serums from my esthetician and nothing helps. i have just attributed it to coming off the pill. i wonder if all the fish oils in the pre-natals are contributing??

I'm on the same prenatals and haven't noticed anything. I'm off the pill though...I'm thinking maybe the mixture of the vitamins and the pill is what's causing the acne?

I hope once you get off the pill they'll go away!!

Thanks ladies......
I decided I'm going to call my dr tomorrow to ask him about it... because I already also planned on calling about taking vitamin c and calcium supplements since my prenatal is lacking in that area!...
I'll let everyone know what he says, in case it might be helpful for others!
