Good Moring

I am starting to plan my sons 5 year old Birthday party.
We are tired of all the local area places, I feel like we attend so many parties at the same places over and over

We live in oceanside, and Boucer and Slydos is about 30-40 min away

Would you come to the party if it was over the weekend and not so close?

Yes.

For reference, we had DD’s party about a half hour away last year and only had 1 no. So I think a lot of people would.

I wouldn't travel 40 minutes for a 5 year old birthday.

Pre-k Birthday Parties- distance

Of course! That's not far at all imo. From Oceanside to bouncers and slydos is not a huge deal

We’ve traveled 30-40 minutes often for birthday parties.

If it was a close friend, yes. Just an acquaintance in class, probably not.

Re: Pre-k Birthday Parties- distance

We’d definitely bring him. We don’t mind long car rides and 40 minutes is honestly not that far...

If my kids would enjoy it then we would go. Distance doesn’t bother me or dh.

It depends on if you have other kids.

Especially if you have weekend activities or a hubby that works on weekends.

But you will get some yes and some no even to a local party!

Same - and we have declined invites for distance for kids that we aren’t as close with

Re: Pre-k Birthday Parties- distance

We are in Oceanside too and I feel the same way. I am tired of the same old places we have done a million times. I was actually just searching for new ideas. We have gone to bouncers and slydos for a party. It was fun. That being said, I would probably only go for a closer friend because it is kind of a pain. Also, I would expect people to be late given it’s farther.
