Pooping on the potty? 2 yr old boys?

Jack told me he had to poop... Hes been doing this for a couple week. He then goes and poops and immediately asks to be changed. So tonight after he told me I asked if he wanted to go on the potty, he said yes - and just went within a mintute. He was so happy to see me so happy and got some mini chocolate chips. Do you think since the first time was so easy it always will be? He acted like it was just normal to do lol.

It's a good start! I don't know if it lasts because I was so proud when DS came up to me and said he had to poop, ran to the potty, then pooped!!!! I thought I was the greatest potty trainer ever.

Next time he did it was 8 months later.

But I know others that take right to it. Hopefully your son keeps it up.

My DS potty trained ridiculously easy...

He was 2 years 4 months....

I put him in underwear at 8am and told him he was going to go pee pee on the potty...

At 9am him he had wet himself. I put him on the potty and told him that he was suppose to go on the potty. Put him in a new pair of underwear.

At 10am he had another accident, but he called me to come get him and put him on the potty where he finished making pee pee. Put him in a new pair of underwear.

At 11am he came running into my bathroom saying "pee pee, pee pee", pulled down his pants, sat himself on the potty, and peed.

That was it...

Now ask my about my older children and that's an entirely different story. But it's entirely possible that some kids could get it that easily.
