Poll: Ulta or Sephora and Why?
Ulta is definitely closer and easier to get to for me (not at a mall) but I love Sephora's selection a lot better! Although I have to say that Ulta is starting to carry some good stuff!

Ulta- They have great sales/coupons - I stock up once every couple months or so.
I like their store brand eyeshadows. They're cheap, and they have great colors.

DITTO!!! I love its eyeshadow! Plus, I can get other things there besides makeup and perfume. The line of makeup I wear is sold at both, so I'm better off going to ULTA - plus it is a lot less crowded and a lot less 15 year old girls

Exactly! I LOVE Sephora and they have a great selection, especially for makeup. Ulta is definately more convenient for me and they have a great selection of hair products. Basically it depends on what I need, but I voted for Sephora since I love to go there and PLAY.

I love Sephora because you can sample everything. There is nothing worse than buying a new cosmetic without trying it out and then discovering that it stinks!

if there was a Sephora as close to me as Ulta, I would shop there instead. although I do like the coupons Ulta sends me!

Sephora for me, I am a bit of a make-up snob. I tend to stick to the higher end products. I went to Ulta once, not the same kind of products.

My thoughts exactly. You can't compare because they don't carry the same brands. I personally love Sephora!

It really depends on what I am looking for. If I am looking for store brand items, then Ulta. If I am looking to buy perfume or higher end cosmetics/products, then Sephora.

I'm weird...I get totally overwhelmed in Sephora. I will go in and look at stuff, but have never bought anything..too many choices!
I buy my makeup in the dept. stores, at the clinique and mac counters.

You have to work up to it!
I got a GC for Sephora years ago & had never been before & I wnet in several times before I boguth aything. I think I had the CG for a year!
I started with perfume. Then I would look for specifics things reccomended in magazines. Just going in because you want say, brown eyshadow, is overwhelming! YOu could spend hours!
I go to Sephora , b/c there are no Ultas in Manhattan or Westchester but I have been once or twice on LI with my mom.
I think they had a better selection of hair stuff, but its been a while.
