Which party place is best for 4 year olds and 5 year olds? One that both boys and girls will enjoy equally.

Even though I'm totally sick of them myself (as a parent), you can't really go wrong with a bouncy place. The kids love them.

For that age, I would be a little hesitant about Chuck E Cheese because I believe the area is still open to the public during your party, right? So on a weekend I think it could get pretty chaotic.

Yes, this is true. I did think of that and it does keep your party seperated to some extent. I have only been to Bounce U parties and CEC, but I stil lquestion if CEC has enough that 4 year olds can really enjoy on their own. Much of it seems for older kids to me anyway.

Re: Poll = Which party place is best for 4 year olds?

We had DD's 4th birthday at Ice Cream Party Shoppe and she LOVED it there. I wouldn't do younger there because of the benches - I feel like smaller kids will fall backwards off of them - so if you have a lot of guests who are younger, it might not be your best bet.

We literally JUST did her 6th birthday at BounceU and it was great. The kids were mostly her age and even some of them got stuck in the tower climber in the second room, so you may want to take that into consideration for a 4 year old's party. My younger DD will be 4 in january and I wouldn't let her anywhere near it. Everything went very smoothly though which was great.

Chuck E Cheese the kids always love, but I feel like the parents, not so much.

Are you opposed to Hop N Bop? They are good for that age.

Also, we just went to a party for 6 year olds at Gold Medal Gymnastics and that was good too - both my girls really liked it and it is really new and clean. The only negative that I heard from the hosting mom is that you need to arrange to bring in all of the food, cake, etc. (including paper goods) which may be a pain if you don't feel like dealing with that.

I know what you mean about CEC. And I see what you are saying about the benches at the Ice Cream shop, maybe I will wait on that for a year or two. And the gym, nah, dont feel like bringing stuff with me. I will look into Hop N Bop.

thanks!

We did Ds"s 3rd Birthday at Chuck E Cheese. The kids loved it, I found it painful.

I did Both DD and Ds's 4th Birthdays at WHite Post Farms. They were both terrific. They are pricey, but worth it.
