Please Tell Me What You Know About Riverdale...

I'd love to get the low down on North Riverdale, Fieldston, Kingsbridge and Spuyten Duyvil...


I've heard generally speaking Riverdale is good but that leads me to believe there are some less than desireable locales...

As usual, any info you can provide would be great!!!

I lived in Riverdale for 5 years. I always think of it as a college town.. well, since I went to college there Manhattan College.

The area is very safe and is right along Broadway, which easy access to the #1 subway. On a slow moving local, it can be about 45 minutes into Penn Station.

The surrounding areas are really nice. Fieldston is pretty wealthy.

all areas are easy walks too. I used to walk from Broadway up through the back streets into town (Riverdale Avenue) and be close to the Henry Hudson Parkway.
