Please recommend a nice place on LI for an anniversary dinner
Our 2 year anniversary is on Monday and we are looking for places in Nassau or western Suffolk to go Saturday night.
We moved to LI 4 months ago, but really havent been anywhere nice, just local places....
Suggestions Anyone? Anything except Sushi bc I am preggers.
I looked in Zagats last night and came up with these two so far:
Panama Hatties in Huntington and Mill Pond Inn (can't remember the town)

Try the Ivy Cottage on Hillside Avenue in East Williston - next to Peter Andrews. The food is awesome and it's very romantic!

We went to The Palm Court in Eisenhower. It was great! But $$$
Locally I really love Stresa East on Jericho in Woodbury.

Mill Pond House - Centerport
Piccolo - Huntington (just north of Huntington Village)
Prime - Huntington (north of the village)
The Clubhouse - Huntington (Jericho Tpke) Although it's a steakhouse, I love the intimate atmosphere and excellent service.
You might also want to look into Whitman's Steakhouse - Huntington on Jericho Tpke (used to be the old Mae Brown's.)

I agree with all of these. I also thought Mazzi in Huntington was very romantic (we sat upstairs.) That was many years ago though.

I really enjoyed Blackstone.
ETA- Steakhouse, though I had fish- it's in Melville.

Sagamore Steak on Jericho is really great as well.
oh, and I love Mims in Syosset.

Mill pond ( it is in Centerport is supposed to be great but if you want to stay more local the other suggestions work also
