Pink Shell Resort - Ft Myers
Has anyone ever been to the Pink Shell Resort in Ft Myers. DH & I are thinking of booking a trip here in April.
Any suggestions on things to do? Places to eat?
The hotel looks amazing online!

Pink Shell Resort - Ft Myers
LOVE this place, we are going back for Easter. I have stayed there 6 times. We have family in Ft. Myers Beach area so go down their often. The resort is amazing, rooms are too. Great for families. Lots of activities at the pool, beach is gorgeous. The breakfast that is included is fantastic and i am not a buffet person. The restaurant at the pool is very good. So is the spa. We like to rent a boat from their marina and explore. Tons of fun. Town is great too. A very easy drive to sanibel to go shelling. Only thing is the river was over flowing due to the rain and running into the gulf. Turning the water a little brown instead of beautiful aqua. To me not a big deal. Heard its already clearing. I will not go swimming in the gulf because of the signs to be on the lookout for hammerhead sharks. lol We also go so often because the flight is so easy and the airport so small. The rental car office is right when you get out and the drive to the beach is about 20 minutes!

What kinds of activities are there at the pool?
Everyday there is a craft (and a nice one!) and make your own sundae. Also tattoos, hair braiding at the main pool. There is a kiddie splash pool too. They also have water sports at the beach, nature hikes, kids camps, and a marina where you can rent a boat for the day. Check out the website, I'm sure there is more that I am missing. In my experience, everything is done very nicely with attention to detail. Last year was the best year yet! Leave in a week, and know we are going to have a blast again!
