Phrases/Sayings/Abbreviations Pet Peeves
What are some things that people say or write that just aggravate you?
For example I cannot stand when people write "Jelly" or "Jellie" for jealous.
Happens a lot on FB.
For some reason it just irks the shit out of me!
Also- Prolly for Probably. UGHHHHH! Kills me. Since when did we deem that probably has an abbrevation and WHY is it prolly?
I also can't stand cray cray for crazy- but we had that discussion on here once a while ago I recall.

Most of them annoy me. If I ever use one, it's tongue in cheek.
ETA: Like the other day, DH was telling me something and trying to get me to agree with him and I just turned around and said "TOTES BRO!"

I can't stand when people write words like this:
Yew
LUV
PULEEZE
etc...
It's like nails on a chalk board when I see young adults using made up abbreviations for school or work purposes...you look like a dumb fool.
Learn how to spell correctly.

Oh YES! I hate that sooooo much.
Because OMG is an abbrevation- so why woudl you spell it out.
In that case it would be the same exact key strokes to type out the unabbreviated phrase.

I hate "kk" instead of okay. It annoys me immensely. As well as leaving off letters or spelling things wrong on purpose: wat, nd, aight, pleaz
My SILs and BILs are in mid to late teens, and extremely ghetto. and Reading their FBs is like watching a puppy die.
Examples of some of their hoodrat statuses:
Just fronted on me like tf I'm tight now. [tf = the f$!k]
Lms for a cuff or duff [like my status for a like or diss]
They use the acronyms and abbreviations that annoy me:
Hmu - hit me up
Wya - where you at
Wyd - what you doing
Lml - laughing mad loud

Kind of different from the above - but one of my biggest pet peeves is when people say, "Could care less." It is "Could NOT care less."
I get that this phrase has become the norm and everyone gets what the person means, but I guess I am just a very literal person. When someone says, "I could care less" I usually say, "So you do care some?"

My first name starts w K, I used to think people were abbreviating "Ok, Kara" when they would say "kk" 
I'm sooooo unhip to most of these since I don't have facebook, twitter, pinterest or watch any TV

It is used incorrectly most of the time, and extremely overused by anyone named Kardashian.
Like.
Overused to death in conversation.

This!! I hate this!
I HATE HATE HATE "LOL" for some reason. It just really bothers me. Especially when grown adults use it. I stick with the standard "haha"
