Oh it drives me crazy when I don't get it. There are a few posted above with no explanation that I still don't get.
This is kind of on topic but not really exactly:
I miscarried VERY early but that very short period of time, I just had a feeling it was a girl and loved the name Penelope. Not long after the miscarriage, while driving, a car in front of me had the license plate "Penelope" A few months later an extended family member passed away, and later that day I saw a license plate with her name and year of birth "Nina 1955" Penelope and Nina are not the most common names so on my hopeful days, I like to think its more than a coincidence.
Any one else have this happen?

When I worked in Woodbury I saw a car in our parking lot & the plates read "PP DOC"

My BIL is the king of vanity plates.
His wifes car used to say CUZISASO, which I thought was a last name, Coozisazo!
His other car says DodgTh1s...We call it Doga the ones...
His 69 beetle says, Entmlgy
My fiancees truck says Handyram

especially when i get notes on my car saying how freaking awesome Toby is and when people honk and scream YEEAHHH TOBBYYY!!!!! out the window and i'm like fuuuck yeah in my cowboy hat!

We saw one the other day of a guy in his late 20's driving a Mazarotti (Sp?) that had the plate bcketlist on it. We were laughing at him and saying he probably brought the car and plates and still lives at home with him mom.

When the Giants won the super bowl dh wanted to get 18-1 but he couldnt it was already taken.. So we have 19-NO Very rarely does anyone get it..

I absolutely couldn't believe it, thankfully we were stuck in bumper to bumper traffic so I took a pic of my rearview mirror.. DH & I were hysterically laughing!

Kinda funny timing on this post because I had a cop pass 2 cars & pull up next to me at a light (one lane road) JUST to ask me what my license plate meant because he couldn't figure it out
Everyone constantly asks me what it means (in parking lots, in my office, when people drive with me for the first time) & the funny thing is… NOTHING. It’s completely random, it was just easy to remember.
so what is it?
My dh has a pretty recognizable one, but only to other star wars nerds
